How To Pave Stone Floor

 Stone floor paving process

To put it simply, mortar or fine stone concrete is used; the mortar or glue is used for the bonding layer; the surface layer is stone. The stone used for indoor floors is generally a polished plate with a thickness of about 20 mm. Currently, there are also thin plates with a thickness of about 10 mm, which are suitable for home decoration. The size of each piece is 300mm×300mm~500mm×500mm. Can be used with thin board and 1:2 cement mortar mixed with 107 glue.

1.Basic process flow:

Clean the ground of the base layer → leveling of cement mortar → calibration height, elastic line → material selection → soaking and wetting of the board → installation of standard blocks → paving cement mortar → paving stone → grouting → cleaning → maintenance and handing over.

2.Construction points:

(1) The grassroots treatment should be clean. The uneven areas should be cut and repaired first. The grassroots should be clean. There should be no mortar, especially white lime mortar ash, oil stains, etc., and wet the ground with water.

(2) When laying stone and porcelain tiles, standard blocks must be placed. The standard blocks should be placed at the intersection of the crosshairs and installed diagonally.

(3) Lines should be hung in order for each line during the pavement operation. The stone must be soaked in water and moistened. Wipe the back after drying.

The maintenance of stone and porcelain tiles after pavement is very important. After 24 hours of installation, they must be sprinkled with water and covered with sawdust after the towel is finished.

Stone flooring is the top priority in the decoration process, so be careful. Whether it is the color of the tiles to the flowers, or the level of the tiles, it directly affects the appearance of the ground. Therefore, when the decoration workers are constructing, the owner must tell the construction master to be careful.
